General Library Rules

1.Turn off or mute your mobile when you are entering the library.
2. Do not make your phone calls in the library.
3. Speak as quietly as possible in the library.
4. Do not enter the library with food and drink (except water).
5. Do not smoke in any area of the library,
6. Keep your personal belongings with you in the library, the person in charge is not responsible for the lost and damaged belongings.
7. Use all the areas in the library clean and attentive and throw all the rubbish to the rubbish bins.
8. Be respectful of library rules and be attentive not to violate the rights of others.
9. Use the library collection and stuff attentively.
10. Do not take out the library sources without borrowing.
11. Use the library sources carefully and do not damage them.
12. For the damaged, delayed returns and lost sources, transactions will be appiled in accordance with the library regulation.

Lending Books, Bound journals

  1. Yüksek İhtisas University full-time academic staff and research assistants can borrow 5 printed materials at once. Printed material can is lent for 30 days.
  2. Yüksek İhtisas University undergraduate students can borrow 3 printed materials at once. Printed material is lent for 15 days.
  3. If there is not a reserve by another reader, each borrowed printed material’s due date can be extended twice. For more than two due date extensions, the printed material must be brought to the library staff.
  4. The library may ask the reader to bring back the printed material before the due date. For these materials, you should consult to the library staff.

 

Delayed Returns or Loss of Books, Bound journals

  1. The library warns the readers for the borrowed and delayed materials. The reader is responsible for the delayed materials.
  2. For each delayed book or bound journal, a daily fee is charged.
  3. In case of loss of the books or bound journals, the reader must provide the last edition of the book and hand in to the library.
